This week I'm joined by David to discuss the origins of the ethical structures of the West - centered upon the individual - and why it is important. We take a look at the uplifting message that carries with it, as well as the results of historical attacks on these ideas and the consequences that arose from the fallout.

Inspired by an episode idea from a listener - this week is all about service calls. Heads up, there's poop talk, sexual favors presented as payment, and stories of some pretty kick-ass customers in this one. You can experience some pretty crazy scenarios while you're on the road trying to fix peoples' electrical problems.

This is probably the strangest and most difficult conversation I've had to date. That being said, I do believe that the best course of action with any belief system is to have an open dialogue and to allow the dissection of ideas to take place. The episode opens with a brief rundown of my thought process heading into this discussion. Above all else, please remember that neither of us are astrophysicists, physicists, meteorologists, geologists, or anything of the like. Please research thoroughly.

Hey hey! This week is all about the idea of having a spine and a direction to orient yourself to. Don't settle for being a jellyfish and always moving with the flow - set a course, and drive towards that goal. Also I talk about directing that anger and aggression into whatever project you want to complete. Anger, aggression, and assertion shouldn't simply be labelled as "toxic" traits.

New week, almost not a new episode! Massive technical mess up on my end, but I've always felt more efficient under pressure. This week I'm going to make my best argument for why we should read more. There are so many more take-aways from it than just "learning." I also give my 5 most influential books from the past year and a brief synopsis of them - maybe there's one that will peak your interest!

Meet Kyle, who had spent years in the comedy scene before transitioning to a different career path. How are we expected to properly hash out ideas and seek answers when parts of our language are eliminated? Have we overused certain buzzwords to the point that they've lost their meaning? Is there any path back when someone has been deemed "unacceptable" to the general public? How has this affected society and how will it affect the future? Join us as we dive into these topics as well as several others that have been highlighted recently in public discourse.

Another week, another podcast! This week I'm taking a look at who I surround myself with, how those circles change over time, and how to analyze these relationships. You want to surround yourself with people who can sharpen you and push you to new heights, not always an easy task when maybe some longtime acquaintances are holding you back. Hell, maybe that's you. We always need to be honest with - above all others - ourselves.

Meet Marshall, who statistically-speaking should not have made it to where he is today. He goes over how he and his wife managed to pull through being homeless teenage parents to establishing a thriving home for them and their children. Often times the strongest people come from the most challenging circumstances. Hardship and struggle build character and an absolute iron will to move ahead through life.

Do you have that nagging task that you know you should have done by now but have been putting it off? Well don't, get it done today and move onto the next slightly bigger and more meaningful task. We'll never get anywhere in life staying still, no matter how trivial it may seem, start and complete something today, or as soon as a realistic timeframe permits.
